How to get Master Chief looking Purrrrfect 👀

Although I currently have zero time for video games like Halo, and never gave a flying meow about Hello Kitty, how could I resist punning, I mean putting, those two glorious entities together? It’s basic math in the end:

(Hello Kitty + Halo Master Chief) - (Hello + Master Chief) = Halo Kitty

The gen above is pretty much exactly what I wanted, but it took me a few tries to get there, and I want to briefly show you that trajectory—below is where I started, and I absolutely hate it; there is literally nothing that I like about this. It makes me upset just looking at it, and I want a lobotomy just thinking about it.

The prompt for the monstrosity above is: Hello kitty as Halo masterchief

Now, if you run this prompt enough times through various models like V6.1 and Niji 6, you will get a ‘good’ generation every few re-rolls, for sure— like this one:

My goal is to craft prompts that are yielding consistently solid gens, every single time.

For the sake of keeping V6 prompts as short as possible (so they can be replicated and edited easily) I started very minimal, but I think this one was maybe too short therefore lacked context—and context is everything in text-to-image prompting— IMO… more on that later.

Below is the next iteration of the original Halo Kitty prompt above. It’s definitely looking more interesting and epic, and less toy-like, which I want, but I’m not getting enough genuine Hello Kitty vibes, and overall it’s just kinda weak.. no real point of interest or any kind of real imaginative anchor to make it stand out.

The prompt used for the gen below was:

The next iteration below is the last one that I felt sucked, the prompt for that was:

There are endless styles and --sref codes that you can apply to whatever prompt you end up with, but you need to include context, or maybe we should call it “medium” in your text-to-image prompts, i.e. old photo, a classical painting, a magazine cover, etc.
