Pencil Drawing Style in Midjourney Niji 6

Quick Update 📣

Now that Midjourney V6 and Niji 6 have changed the way MJ text2image prompts are structured, it’s time we change the way our keyword prompt method is structured as well.

So…

Instead of continuing to present the style prompt keywords as a list of trigger tokens for you to pick through and apply to your own prompts, we’re going to start presenting them as part of a prompt template for you to add your own attributes like subject, action, mood, etc.

You’ll notice I’m only using Niji 6 throughout this entire issue, simply because Pencil Drawing is an art style and I love the way the Niji model works with artistic styles as opposed to photographic.

Pencil Drawing is an art form celebrated for its versatility and accessibility, enabling artists to convey a wide range of subjects and emotions through the simple use of graphite on paper. It ranges from quick sketches to intricate, detailed works, offering artists a direct and intimate means of expression. Pencil drawing encompasses a variety of techniques, including hatching, cross-hatching, stippling, and blending to create different textures and shades. This medium allows for precise control over the intensity and subtlety of the artwork, making it ideal for both realistic portrayals and imaginative explorations.
